well i just read the full story plot to bioshock 1 even though ive only played the game for 20 mins. think i may have just spoiled it for myself. now i get to choose what ending i get knowing what its going to be.

yea i agree its a pain in the ass, but i use it for batman, and it runs along in the background without much bother.
i wont be playing multiplayer - just really enjoyed the 1st game as a single player romp.
